Forge achieved planning approval for B1 office use for this mid-19th century spice and leather warehouse. The refurbishment sought to reveal many original building features and nine open plan studios were created. Upon completion in 2001 Forge moved into studio 8, which we still occupy to this day.

In 2009, a second phase of works incorporated an additional three studios from the adjacent Victorian warehouse building fronting Cole Street.

Subsequent upgrades overseen by Forge have ensured the building remains a highly desirable workspace within the Borough area of Southwark.
