Forge began feasibility design in early 2020, with the aim of retaining and improving the existing underutilised residential development, excellently located on the perimeter of the Elephant Park redevelopment.

The existing dwellings will benefit from improved cycle parking provision and natural lighting from enlarged windows and Juliet balconies, which overlook the leafy Victory Community Park. We were keen to retain the existing building, to prevent the negative carbon and environmental impacts of demolition.

Two additional storeys of residential units are provided with private amenity, with an improved landscaped communal amenity to the rear. The proposed overclad brickwork will allow the new extension to sit elegantly on the existing building, and compliment the many surrounding local developments.

The team is currently working on the tender package and looking forward to starting on site later this year.
