A.O.K Kitchen & Bakery opens on Dorset Street

In early 2017, A.O.K Kitchen approached us with a brief to advise on planning and building control for their new restaurant with an ancillary bakery. The restaurant’s goods will focus on health and wellness — there will be no refined sugar, and a prominent suite of gluten and dairy-free bakes. The works to the 1700’s building with a listed façade procurement, included refurbishment and re-fit plans.

Much consideration and negotiation was required to achieve planning and listed building consent particularly with regards to the façade of the listed building. We helped to channel A.O.K’s vision for a health and wellness restaurant and gluten-free bakery with step by step support. The new all-inclusive restaurant and bakery help to redefine the Marylebone space, offering ‘laid-back-luxury’.

A.O.K Kitchen and Bakery is now open to the public 7 days a week. Reservations are advised.
