Tim founded Forge in 1993 aiming to keep the business small and agile to ensure whilst remaining design led, Forge is also able to look at every project from a perspective of asset maximisation and pragmatism – this remains one of Forge’s USPs today and allows us to be industry leaders in this area.
Tim continues to introduce new clients to Forge and be involved in most of the planning work, creating sustainable urban environments by having landscaping and greening as an integral part of the architecture. Tim’s involvement in local trusts leads to the practices' community focused work. Tim’s contact with council organisations and local developers means that he sits on the board of several local trusts, Southwark Playhouse, Bankside Open Spaces Trust, Bankside Neighbourhood Plan – to name a few. Tim more recently is helping local community radio station ‘Resonance FM’ to relocate to Bankside.
Tim is living proof that Architecture and music can co-exist as he regularly collaborates with Forge’s house band ‘Soft Shell Crabs’.
