Joining Forge in 2001 as a part 1 Architectural technician, Jim loves the ‘myriad possibilities’ through all stages of design that architecture brings. Jim’s career at Forge supported him in going on to qualify as an architect studying at Portsmouth and Greenwich universities.
It’s Jim’s analytical mind coupled with visual arts that enables him to ‘never stop learning’ as an architect. Jim was the lead architect gaining planning consent for the conversion of the railway arches at the ever popular Maltby street market in Bermondsey. This project is growing year on year, is a huge success and also the catalyst for the regeneration of this vibrant area.
Jim is an avid guitarist and writes songs that he regularly sings in his band. When not performing Jim can be found devoting his time to oil painting.
