Forge are very familiar with Thrale House, having worked on a number of separate planning applications for this client over the years (to enhance the value of their property). Initially Forge achieved planning approval for change of use of the ground floor to become a restaurant, and change of use from commercial to residential on the upper floors. Recently planning approval was granted for extension/refurbishment of the property to include a remodelling of the façade at fourth floor level retaining its period features and adding new glazed extension at fifth floor level. Following a successful tender process Forge have been appointed by the builders (Virtus) to take the project through the construction phase.
(completion winter 2018).
